Step 2
Allow Full Access
Full Access unlocks translation, clipboard import, and progress sync.
- Settings → General → Keyboard → Keyboards → Sir Types-A-Lot
- Toggle Allow Full Access on
Step 3
Switch and register
Open any text field, long-press 🌐, and choose Sir Types-A-Lot to register the keyboard.
- Once active, the keyboard remembers Full Access
- Tap the ➡️ button to translate your first phrase
Guidance tools you control
Dual-layout translation
Type normally on the primary layout, tap ➡️ to see the translated phrase on the secondary layout, and stay in sync with the quest you are practicing.
- Instant translations stay on-device until you share them.
- Clipboard button (📋) pulls copied text for quick conversions.
Guidance & feedback
Sequential highlights nudge you toward the correct keys, while Backspace glows when you need to fix an error.
- Progress bar tracks how much of the phrase remains.
- Romanization and overflow text can be expanded with a tap.
Audio & personas
Configure spoken feedback per letter, word, or full phrase, and optionally apply persona-based translations with an active subscription.
- Choose casual, formal, or professional tone in Settings.
- Speech playback is per-language and fully optional.

Knightshire Training Grounds and Quest Zone 5000 give you curated lessons plus community-made bundles to keep the momentum going.
